Quiet time on Trials

August 1, 2015

I was heavily burdened because I found out that my grandmother was on her death bed. this made me really miss my mother as well. In addition, there was some personal things I was waiting for peace about. I read Psalm 18: 34-36, on this day:

34 He trains my hands for battle;
    my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
35 You make your saving help my shield,
    and your right hand sustains me;
    your help has made me great.
36 You provide a broad path for my feet,
    so that my ankles do not give way.

39 You armed me with strength for battle;
    you humbled my adversaries before me.

This spoke to my heart because it reminded me that God is my aid and I must count on him to win the victories in life. Not only does he help us but he also equips to fight these scaary battles. Just another reminder that God is my source.
